A Major Shopping Centre in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia

Project Overview:

This particular mall is a 85,000m2 GFA (Gross Floor Area) Shopping Centre that operates from 10am to 10pm from Monday to Sunday. It didn't have a Green Mark Standard. Business Challenges is to obtain better visibility to optimise energy consumption and potentially reduce costs.

Hence, the project objective is to provide energy savings by utilising Retragreen AI & IoT solution.

Building Automation System:

The site has been digitised and equipped with a Honeywell Trend Control IQVision.

Solution: 

Retragreen AI team used blackbox connect to BMS, fetch data from BMS system to Retragreen AI cloud. Our AI engineers analysed this data by utilising IoT platform and Retragreen AI system. We uncovered improvement opportunities for energy efficiency and IAQ and built AI models to optimise them.

Achievement: By utilising Retragreen AI solution, we were able to provide predictive analytics to optimise chiller plant energy efficiency and reduce overcooling in air-conditioned space by between 6% and 13%.
